Hooray for March!

I didn't originally have a post planned for today. Then I realized it is March. March has not always been the kindest month to us in the past, but March has the lovely quality of not being February.

I vaguely recall doing a unit in third grade on how February was the worst month of the year, and I'm pretty sure poetry was involved.

I don't really like February. I'm tired of winter and dark and dirty slush.

I want it to be spring again. Mini Meerkat desperately wants to go back to the farm again.

This March is going to be incredibly hectic for us. Despite the insults of Marches past and the promise of chaos to come this March, March puts us that much closer to spring. The days are getting longer again. There is more light (even if we do get rained on, at least it isn't constantly night time). It will hopefully get warmer and less snowy. We are looking forward to the farm and the flowers.

So here's to March. I hope it is kinder to everyone than February has been!
